An eternal figure-outer who goes all in?

It may sound like I’m talking about you, but NOPE. (At least not yet.) I’m Shannon, founder of Luminary Studio. Part of the reason why I THRIVE in working with go-getter business owners is because of these two things that we relate hardcore on.

We figure things out. And we go ALL IN.

Sometimes this results in building the plane while we’re flying. And if you’re finding yourself in a growth-stage of business, chances are you know how it feels. Like you flew a little too high before factoring in that you needed things like… WINGS. Or a windshield.

I don’t know planes, but what I do know is that a lot of business owners are accomplishing some crazy goals with a less-than-optimized website and visual online presence.

I’m originally from New Jersey and am currently coming at ya from Honduras (yep! you guessed it, in the Caribbean) where I get to live my dream life with my husband and sometimes-business-partner.

My life may look simple from the outside, but it’s the one I dreamed up just for me, and the one I chose to believe my business ventures could be a part of and truly make possible.

Here are some of the details of my mostly dreamy day-to-day:

  • I own and operate 4 businesses in various industries and a non-profit organization.

  • I landed the man I moved across the equator for. Now we’re married and do life together every day.

  • My days are filled with movement and mental stimulation, both fueling my passion in ways I can’t put into words.

  • I get to explore the world through travel, finding experiences that root me in gratitude and help me dream bigger.

Now, ya want the honest truth?

You can dream it all, but if you don’t take action, you’ll never hold that dream in your hands.

What’s it that Einstein said about insanity?—it’s doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I’m holding the life I dreamed, and I didn’t get here by doing the same thing everyone else is.  I got here by holding fast to what I want for my future and how I want to live my days. I built an online identity and website filled with systems specifically to help me make that happen.

I know for a fact this is just the launching pad for me, and I can’t wait to help you bring this to life in your business, too.

I’m a Crossfit Level 1 Certified coach — which means I’ve got that balance between “you’ve GOT THIS” and “get off your BUTT over there” totally down.

I was born and raised in New Jersey, which means I tell it like it is and love to start my day with “bacon egg and cheese salt pepper ketchup.” All one word!

I’m an introverted extrovert which means I really love people, but I also thrive in deep work and environments where I can dig in and make big things happen from a little focus.

Everyone tells me, “You have SO MUCH ENERGY!” which can sometimes translate into getting really passionate about things that may seem small to everyone but me.

I’m fluent in English and Spanish, but sometimes I have to declare “system failure” out loud when I get stuck between the two languages and cannot compute.

Living in Honduras = I’m big on coffee. We have access to the best coffee in the world, and the shops within walking distance from me have deepened my feels FOR REAL.
